I'm an experienced international school leader specialising in educational technology and AI. I build software to solve problems that teachers and school leaders run into at work. The tools here run on your device, so student data stays out of the cloud. I also lead research into how AI affects classroom practice and student learning, and run practical workshops for educators.

Finding free footage to include in your iMovie projects is easy, but finding footage that students are actually allowed to use, is free, in HD quality and doesn’t require registration can be another story. Here is a list of websites that I regularly tell my students to use to download quality video footage from.

Why I share my work

Publishing a tool forces me to finish it properly. I build these for myself and my colleagues. If one saves you some time too, good.

Your data stays put

Free tools should not cost you your privacy. These tools run on your device and do not send your data to my servers.

They work offline

A classroom connection is not always reliable. Load a tool once and you can keep using it without internet access.

Free

Teachers already buy too many classroom supplies themselves. I do not charge for these tools or track their users. The code is not open source, and I have no plans to make it so.
